He was predeceased by: his wife Lilly Gauthier Ducote; his parents, Alvin Ducote and Eldie Ducote; his grandson Michael Olgesby; his nephews, Thaddus Hukins, Joshua Bernard and Bruce Hukins, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Whitten, Mackenzie Miller and Baby V..
He is survived by: his children, Pam Ducote (Kalvin) of Marksville, Tina Voorhies (Johnny) of Bunkie, Kim Daigre (Roxanne) of Baton Rouge, Eve Greeman (Mike) of Oak Ridge, OR, Joshua Ducote (Mandy Dauzat) of Hessmer and Johnathon Ducote (Monica) of Cottonport; and his siblings, Elaine Gauthier of Cottonport, Mary Bernard of Marksville, Alfred Ducote (Chris) of Hessmer, Carl Ducote (Christine) of Spring Bayou and Niggie Ducote (Danis) of Hessmer. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
