It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Lou Moffett of Cotton Valley, Louisiana, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gibson and Ellen Henrietta Young Holtzclaw; her husband Walter Lee Moffett; her daughter Mattie Lee Moffett; and her siblings, Thomas Daniel Tommy Holtzclaw, Harold Holtzclaw, Gertrude Walker and T. M. Holtzclaw. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
