He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hagan and Cassie L. Smith Hagan; and his siblings, Charles "Lindy" Hagan, Willie "Peck" Hagan and Martha Sue Morgan.
He is survived by: his son John Lott Hagan, Jr. of Minden, LA; his grandson Dustin Jon Hagan (Rhonda) of Vivian, LA; and his sisters, Tishie "Tooty" Lanora Hagan of Kansas City, MO and Greta Mosely of Minden, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
