She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Sexton and Ever Sexton; her husband Ben Vowell; her daughter Linda Gail Vowell; her husband Dale Elmore; and her sisters, Lucille Sexton and Lois Cates.
She is survived by: her children, Lona Ewing (Vince), Gwen Dauphin (Jack) and Paul Vowell (Beth); and her brother Will Henry Sexton (Myra).
