He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edwards and Sylvia Edwards; his former wife Maisy McGee Edwards; his wife Beci Edwards; his son Christopher Dale Edwards; and his siblings, Charles Edwards and Daisy Joan Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Davis (Steven); his grandchildren, Catherine Davis, Sabrina Love (Dalton), Samantha Davis, Shayna Brown (Tyler), Liberty Benitez, Delanie Benitez, Ben Davis, Brandon Davis, Landon Davis, Darci Benitez, Douglas Benitez and Sam Benitez; his great grandchild Kameron Thomas; and his niece Gale Yochum.
