It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Brumley of Converse, Louisiana, born in Many, Louisiana, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wives, Shirley Brumley and Katherine Lucius Brumley; and his parents, Walter H. Brumley and Ella Brumley (Dew). He is survived by: his children, Donnie Sistrunk, Jr. (Karla) of Converse, LA, Melissa Richardson (Craig) of Converse, LA and Daniel Sistrunk (Valeria) of Moore, SC; his grandchildren, Aaron Sistrunk (Jessica), Rusty Sistrunk, Kevin Richardson, Tyler Richardson (Elaina), Paige Salley (Kyle), Acie Sistrunk and Jackson Sistrunk; and his great grandchildren, Landon Sistrunk, Charlie Richardson, Rylie Richardson and Lincoln Salley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
