She was predeceased by: her husband James I. Hymel, Jr.; her parents, Joseph Simon and Elmira Simon; and her siblings, Norris Simon, Aimee Gemeinhardt, Eunice Felps, Onell Simon and Joseph Simon Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Marine "Winky" Nobile (Anthony "Buzzy" Nobile), James I. Hymel III (JoAnn D. Hymel) and Jackie Holdridge (Guy Holdridge); her grandchildren, Teddi Hymel Hessburg, Maura Nobile, Jonathan Nobile, Adrienne Holdridge, Aimee Holdridge and Reed Holdridge; and her great grandchild Marie "M. J.".
