It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Samuel Joseph of Convent, Louisiana, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Joseph and Clifton Thomas; his sister-in-law Mary Smith; his granddaughter Kollins Marcell; his sisters, Dolores Macklin Jones, Hattie Mae Jones and Sharon Joseph Moton; and his son Idrick Christopher Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith Joseph; his daughters, Kenya Joseph, Keantrya J. Franklin (Eddie), Kachelsia J. Martin (Calvin), Kyameshia and Kareema Joseph; his grandchildren, Xzavier Jamal, Keyondre Tyreke, Tristyn Imani Franklin and Kohen Joseph Marcell; his brothers, Alvin and Aaron Joseph; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Smith, Jr., Lawrence Smith, Sr., Rev. Samuel Jones, Leona Harris, Olivia Smith, Elizabeth Davis and Loretta Bouie; his godchildren, Rhonda Jones-Green and Taber Davis, Sr.; and his nephews, Jerome Picou Jr., W'Juankeil Jones and Jayden Dumas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
