He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Ulrich and Alice Copponex; his sister Lillie DiLeo; his brothers-in-law, Lloyd Carey, Ulrich Copponex Jr., Edward Copponex and Calvin "Pnut" Copponex; and his uncles, Donald "Pete" and Gerald Levet.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Emmie, Kinsey, Bentley, Parker and Breigh; his siblings, William, Fernand "Tnook", Sadie Carey, Margaret Bedard (Hector) and Gayle "Bozo" (Mary Ann); and his in-laws, Alise Henderson (Bob), Carol Lambert, Jane Copponex, Pat Copponex, Charleen Lambert and Charles DiLeo.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (6484 LA-44, Convent, LA 70723). Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael's Church Building Fund.
