He was predeceased by: his parent Eddie; his siblings, Waitsel, Bobby Gene, Bill, Julie, Maxine, Gloria Jean and Geraldine; his great grandchild Jaylin Kinsley Jones; and his nephew Kenneth Ray Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his children, Scotty Ray Fitzgerald (Melinda) of Columbia and Tracy Bruce (Robby) of Columbia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
