He was predeceased by: his parents, David Warren Gay and Edith Maudelle Freeman Gay; and his son-in-law Darren Jacobson. He is survived by: his wife Emily Kempton Gay; his daughters, Hollen Jacobson and Laura-Murphy Hass (Robbie Hass); and his grandchildren, Harrison Jacobson, Ramsey Jacobson, Emilyanne Jacobson, Avery Grant, Austin Grant, Hailey Hass, RJ Hass and Madison Hass.
