She was predeceased by: her husband John Glenn Meredith; her mother-in-law Doris Smith Meredith; her sister Norma Sue Garlington; and her stepbrother Ronnie Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Marsha (Stan Harris), Glenn Carroll (Carol Meredith) and Dean (Susan Meredith); and her grandchildren, Meredith Harris, Jonathan, Carolyn Harris, Brett, Ashlynn Meredith, Rachael, Nathan Meredith, Angela, Griff Furst, Brittany and Robert Michael. She is also survived by family, local community and many friends, but most especially by her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Marlene's favorite charities, the Ronnie Tullos Evangelism Association, Gideon's International and the Wounded Warrior Project.
