He was predeceased by: his parents, Cast Powell and Bernice Powell; and his siblings, Ruby L. Sampson, Cast Powell Jr., Wilbert J. Wade and John Powell.
He is survived by: his spouse Sing Eggins Wade; his siblings, Linda Powell of Winnsboro, LA, Earline Eggins of Grayson, LA and Henry Davis (Katie) of St. Louis, MO; his daughter Shonita "Nikki" Butler of Dallas, TX; and his grandchildren, Dennis Tatum (JaQuicia), Darcey Eggins (Kateal) of Monroe, LA, Chancey Eggins of Texas and Genesis "Yanna" Butler of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
