With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Noe Franklin of Columbia, Louisiana, born in Olla, Louisiana, who passed away on November 7, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Noe Franklin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Franklin and Tabitha Franklin; his siblings, Mary Ladner and Lamar Franklin, Sr.; his son Andy Franklin; and his grandson Logan Franklin.

He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Franklin and Pam Jones (Brent); his siblings, Carol Weaver, Debbie Monasco and Gary Franklin; his grandchildren, Dustin Jones (Charlie) and Paige Carraway (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Kenlee, Kaylee Carraway, Landon and Carson Jones; and his sisters-in-law, Lola Bradford (Bobby), Dottie Luttrick (Johnny) and Patsy Eichelberger. He is also survived by other fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers he requested donations be made to Columbia Heights Baptist Church, Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, or a charity of your choice.

“So saddened by the news of James’s death! I graduated from LHS WITH James and was FB friends with him. Had communicated with him less than a month ago about another one of our classmates! I live in Shreveport and have a funeral to attend up here tomorrow that will prevent me from attending the services in Columbia! Will be praying for the entire family for strength, resolve, and God’s peace to deal with this enormous loss of a dear friend and classmate! 🙏🏼❤️”
