He is survived by: his wife Mary Loraine Head Legg; his children, James Edward Legg Jr. (Kathi) of College Station, TX, Heath Legg (Kacey) of Columbia, LA and Misty Cassels (David) of Hot Springs, AR; his brother Larry Joe Legg of Diamondhead, MS; his sister-in-law Diane May Legg of Clarks, LA.; his grandchildren, Christopher Legg (Haley), Morgan Cassels, Lauren Cassels and Elizabeth Legg; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Gatewood and Cooper Delancey; and his children, Corey, Courtney and Elijah.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riser Funeral Homes (7131 US-165, Columbia, LA 71418). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Welcome Home Cemetery (4805 LA-126, Grayson, LA 71435).
