He is survived by: his wife Jenny Vinson Bamburg; his children, Shane Bamburg (Heather Moreno), Kim Hynek, Jaime Bamburg and Melanie Turner (Doug); and his sisters, Gay Phillips (Kenneth), Angie Parham and Beverly Bamburg McKee. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
