With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Kay Sikes Barnes of Columbia, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hansford Vernone Sikes and Martha Gracie Turner Sikes; and her husband Tommy Barnes. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Leteff (Willie) of Columbia, Carrie Fossier (Charles) of Keller and Robbie Miller (Darrin Waters); her stepchildren, Matthew Barnhill and Amy Crain; her grandchildren, Jessica, Leslie, Hannah, Corbin, Leilani, Tyler, Nicholas, Brandon, Justin and Marley; her great grandchildren, Janelle, Antoone, Anahla, Navaeh and Bryson; her siblings, Duane Sikes, Diane Tolbert, Juanita Hobgood and Myrtie Perot; and her close friend Emma Jean Girod. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
