With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dottie Mae Gibson of Columbia, Louisiana, born in Kelly, Louisiana, who passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Baker Cicero Duke; her husband Julius Elwin "Hoot" Gibson; and her siblings, Ollie Faye Howell and Clifford Ray Duke. She is survived by: her daughter Dottie Gibson Allday (Jimmy Bennett); her sisters, Mary Ann Freeman and Willie Shields; and her granddaughter Lindsay Allday. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
