He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Steward, Sr.; his son Jacob Cooper Steward; and his brother-in-law Walt Elliott. He is survived by: his children, CJ Steward and Presley Steward; his mother Tammy Steward; his siblings, Angel Elliott and Bobby Steward, Jr. (Tamala); his nephews, Travis Elliott (Randi) and Wyatt Elliott; his niece Madisyn Bagwell (Dylan); his great-nephews, Garett and Bennett Bagwell; his fiancé Ashley Aikens; and his pet Hatchet. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Cypress Baptist Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
