He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Will Etier and Emma Roberts Etier; his siblings, George Etier, Herbert Etier, Waymon Etier, Frank Etier, James Etier, Nellie Ledbetter, Effie Zeagler, Margie Poole, Betty Sue Etier and Anna Laura Eves; his wife Joy Blackwell Etier; his daughter Kim Etier of West Monroe; his stepchildren, Deanna Hoffman (Paul) of Georgia and Kevin Murphy of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Chloe Beckham, Dillon Beckham, Tyler Franklin, Noah Hoffman and Logan Hoffman; and his great grandchild Hadassah Rose Franklin. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
