She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur L. Eaton and Etta Hall Eaton; her son James Leslie Whitaker; her husband Robert B. Grogan; and the father of her children James C. Whitaker.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Reynolds (Joseph Reynolds); her grandchildren, Jesse Faulkenbury of Bastrop, Jana Cannon (Denny Cannon) of Bastrop, Vince Faulkenbury (Lisa Faulkenbury) of Bastrop, James Whitaker and Jessica Whitaker of Albuquerque; her niece Mary Odom; her friends, Bertha Rowland and Vicki Boyte Linzay; her close friends, Diann Stapleton and Susie Scott; her caregivers, Latarsha and Deva; and also Mary Reed of Graham, Texas.. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
