It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Clyde Brevelle III (Colfax, Louisiana), who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Clyde Brevelle II and Ellen Jenkins Brevelle; his sisters, Rita Roberts and Christy Nolan; his parents-in-law, Herschel Welch and Polly Welch; his nephew Nathan Hughey; and his niece Emma Vets.
He is survived by: his wife Dot Brevelle; his children, Cory Brevelle, Colin Brevelle (Jessica), Katie Thomson (Stephen), Kandie Bailey (Rob) and Kailee Landry (Seth); his grandchildren, Ethan, Ramsee, Kennedy, Kinley, Kendal, Kallie, Langston, Tyson and Christian; his siblings, Jerry Brevelle (Anne), Terry Hughey (Randy), Karen Vets (Tony) and Catherine Dubea (Timmy); and his brothers-in-law, David Roberts and Jeff Nolan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, & friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 9:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Chapel of Kramer of Colfax (28 2nd St, Colfax, LA 71417). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (801 3rd St, Colfax, LA 71417).
