It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Lewis Williams of Colfax, Louisiana, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ottilie "Lilly" Williams; his parents, Henry Williams and Vivian Williams; and his siblings, James Williams, Francis Gaspard and Audie Cameron.
He is survived by: his sons, Konrad Plank of Nassenfels, Wendell Williams (Pam) of Alexandria, Roy Williams (Patti) of Verda and Brian Williams (Vanessa) of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Amy Brewer, Ashley Locker, Alanna Roberts, Mathew Williams, Taylor Williams, Ian Williams, Morgan Settle and Aaron Williams. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren in the U. S.; and two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Verda Cemetery Fund, in care of Montgomery Bank, or mailed to 145 Simmons Road, Atlanta, LA, 71404.
