It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Ann Futrell of Colfax, Louisiana, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie, Sr. Bryant and Lou Bryant; her husband Earl K. Futrell; her sons, J. C. Perkins and Ernest Perkins; her siblings, Richard, Elzie Bryant, Jr., Arelia Garrett, Catherine McGlaughlin, Loretta McGlothlin, Louita McGlothlin, Corinne Wise, Claudia Jones, Inez Glenn and Marie Hayworth; her grandchildren, Travis Williams and Carmen Perkins; and her great grandchild Kamden Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Perkins (Darlene) of Okeechobee, FL., Danny Perkins (Doris) of Columbia, Dickie Futrell (Cecelia) of Dry Prong and Judy Dufour (Michael) of Colfax; and her sister Elsia Fay Lord of Killeen, TX.. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; forty-six great grandchildren; and thirty-three great-great grandchildren.
