She was predeceased by: her husband Hershal Glenn Johnson; her parents, Samuel Painter and Harriet Painter; her sisters, Lajuan Johnson, Hazel Burk, Syble McGlothlin and Dolly Painter; her grandson Franklin Wayne Johnson; and her great grandchild Hunter Lee Hayes (Lucy).
She is survived by: her children, Denise Boren (Billy Wayne), Bubby Johnson (Jeannie), Lonnie Johnson (Susan), Vickie Garner (Buster), Carolyn Wehunt (Ernest, Jr.), Sharon Ross (Ronnie Dale) and Roger Johnson; her grandchildren, Kindall Boren, Brandon Boren, Heather Johnson, Ashley McConnell, Alston Voiselle, Shanda Collins, Jeremy Wehunt, Amber Wehunt, Catherine Powell, Hannah Ross, Josh Ross, Rocky Dubois, Melissa Temple, Jessica Mayeaux, Lil Roger Johnson, Kayla Bunn and Justin Decuir; and her siblings, Dorothy Chelette, Juanita Williams, Esther Ruth Michell and Donald Painter.
