We bid farewell to Rose P. Ammons of Colfax, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Powell and Delores Powell; and her siblings, Ray Powell, Opal P. Coleman, Eunice P. Montgomery, Gladys P. Fain and Lillie P. Rabalais.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Ammons of Colfax; and her children, Bruce Ingle (Julia) of Sneedville, Wesley Edward (Tammie) of Dry Prong, Brian Ammons (Jackie) of Moss Bluff, Stanley Ammons of Colfax, Teri Mauricio of Hondo, Lisa Edwards of Cotile, Laura Brown (Ricky) of Cotile and Shirlisa Bennette (Johnny) of Longville. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rush Funeral Home - Pineville (3307 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Coleman Cemetery.
