He is survived by: his children, Richard "Bomber" Whatley of Deville, Phillip Whatley (Cheryl) of Pineville, Steven Whatley of Deville, Danny Whatley (Cynthia) of Colfax and Helen Whatley of Shreveport; and his siblings, Larry Whatley, Sr. of Deville and Millie Whatley of Virginia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
