It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Lacour Chelette (Colfax, Louisiana), who passed away on August 30, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her son Dowen P. Chelette; her parents, Roland Lacour and Anna Fletcher Lacour; her grandson Keith Chelette; her siblings, Andrew Lacour, Florence Hale and Ola Mae Keiser; her son Euel B. Chelette; her grandchildren, Andrew Chelette, Matthew Chelette, Joseph Allen (Dessie Allen), Lewis Allen and Danielle Ferrier; and her great grandchildren, Joseph Allen, Dessie Allen, Zachary Chelette and Aiden Chelette.
