He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Baxley and Walter Baxley; his great grandchild Kason Burch; and his siblings, Melvin Baxley, Horace Baxley, Leonard Baxley, William H. Baxley, Ira Baxley Sr. and Stella Baxley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Baxley Hosey (Lamar) and Eva Baxley Davidson (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Sasha Caldwell (James), Devin Burch, Emily Hatfield and Abigail Hatfield; his great grandchildren, Gracelynn Batte, Levi Batte, Emrie Batte, Jyntsen Burch, Mayven Burch and Joseph Burch; and his close friend Cleo Futrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
