It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Burks of Colfax, Louisiana, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Burks; and her parents, Earl Hutchings and Alma Hutchings. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Burks of Tampa, Marshall Burks (Judy) of Colfax and Mitchell Burks (Dawn) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and her sister Gladie Hayden of New Mexico. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
