He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Houston and Ollie Calhoun Houston; his parents-in-law, Marguerite Hudson, Marion I. Hudson and Charles Acres; and his brother Francis Sherman Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Acres Houston; his sons, Sloan Houston (Kari) and Blain Houston (Toni) of Baton Rouge, LA; and his grandchildren, Madeline Houston, James Ryan Houston, Hudson Houston and Brennan Houston.
