He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary Guffey; his children, James Michael Guffey (Misty) and Melissa Stroud; his grandchildren, Courtney Thompson, Victoria Guffey, McKenzie Stroud, Christian Guffey and Khloe Stroud; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn "Redd" Bruce, Bailey Rainwater, Brentlee Bruce and Addalyn Eversull; and his siblings, Ralph Guffey (Susan), Daisy Guffey, Carolyn Brossette and Cassie Martin.
