It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Andrew Wood Sr. of Colfax, Louisiana, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Wood and MaryEllen Wood; his daughter Varonda Benfield; and his granddaughter Brandy Duffey. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wood of Colfax; and his children, James Wood, Jr. (Aundria) of Pollock, Cynthia Wood of Dry Prong and Lenora Trammel of Colfax. He is also survived by two brothers; three sisters; seventeen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
