He was predeceased by: his parents, John Owen Dewitt and Voncile Barton Dewitt; and his brothers, David and Calvin Dewitt. He is survived by: his wife Rena Dickinson Dewitt; his children, Raymond Hargrave, Carrol Owen Dewitt, Jr. (Kathy), Stella Louise Hargrave and Angela Burke; and his brothers, Charles Dewitt (Judy), Dale Dewitt and Eddie Dewitt (Patsy). He is also survived by many grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
