She was predeceased by: her husband Relio "Ray" Picou; her children, Ray James Picou and Sonya Picou Watson; her parents, Lawrence Cantrelle and Bertha Griffin Cantrelle; her siblings, Ella Breaux, Murphy Cantrelle, Pearl Dufrene and Otis Cantrelle; and also Frank Oliver Gibbs III.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Picou (Judy), Juanita "TeeDee" Picou Gibbs (Tim) and Anita Picou Cambre (Stephen); her brothers, Alvin Cantrelle (Doris) and Curtis Cantrelle (Adair); her grandchildren, Dustin Cambre (Christy), Benjamin Cambre (Lacey), Bryan Picou, Jr. (Melinda), Madelyn Jarreau (Troy) and Cody Ray Gibbs (Zibrille); her great grandchildren, Aiden, Briley, Kenedi and Zakary; and her son-in-law Dewayne Watson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
