He is survived by: his parents, Larry Cowan and Beatrice "Tootie" Cowan; his children, Michelle Phillips and Collin Verbeck of Clayton, LA; his siblings, Nicholas Phillips of Clayton, LA and Jerica Cowan of Clayton, LA; his aunts and uncles, Kimberly Evans (Mark) of Ferriday, LA, Barbara Ann of Waterproof, LA, JoAnn Knapp (Mack) of Denahm Springs, LA, Sondra Cowan of Jena, LA, H. D. Phillips of Clayton, LA and George Phillips of Clayton, LA; his nephews, Devin Stockstill and Kason Phillips; and his niece Aliana Phillips. He is also survived by cousins. other family, and friends.
