With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Preston Briggs of Clayton, Louisiana, born in Foules, Louisiana, who passed away on June 5, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Briggs and Mary Wade Briggs; his son Joseph Briggs; and his sisters, Bertha Cotton, Hazel Morgan and Anna Belle Walker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Yearick (Mike) of Ferriday, LA, Debbie DeLaune of Natchez, MS and Mary Allen of Vidalia, LA; his siblings, Walter Louis Briggs (Carole) of Natchez, MS. and Mary Breland (Wayne) of Leaksville, MS; his grandchildren, Striker Brown (Kara), Levi Brown (Monica), Ashleigh Burns, Abi Brown and Lakota Fuqua (Mac); and his great grandchildren, Sydni Goad, Finley Brown Pallbearers, Levi Brown, Keith Burns, Mike Yearick and Tony Henry.
