He is survived by: his children, Elwaine Smith, Jr. of Downsville, LA, Edwin Bryan Smith (Debbie) of Jacksonville, LA, Cheryl Henderson (David) of Winnsboro, LA, Deborah Platt (Steven) of Jacksonville, FL and Tammie Wright of Clayton, LA; and his siblings, Richard Smith of Monterey, LA, Marie Thornton (John) of Franklinton, LA and Barbara Nell Scabrock (Don) of West Monroe, LA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
