She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Roberts and Mary Jane Depriest; and her brother David Depriest. She is survived by: her children, Sam Ferguson Sr. (Melissa), Mike Ferguson Sr. (Janet) of Malvern, AR and Kimberly Ferguson of Vidalia, LA; her sister Jennie Roy (Bobby) of Hessmer, LA; her grandchildren, Tiffany Ferguson (Nick), Mike Ferguson Jr. (Michelle) of Vidalia, LA, Samuel Ferguson Jr. of Natchez, MS, Russ Blocker of Vidalia, LA, Raven Blocker of Vidalia, LA and Makayla Shannon of Fort Johnson, LA; and her great grandchildren, Braylin, Colt Myers of Ferriday, LA, Aidan and Taylor Ferguson of Vidalia, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Young's Funeral Home (609 EE Wallace Boulevard, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Young's Funeral Home Chapel (609 EE Wallace Boulevard, Ferriday, LA 71334).
