It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Humphries of Clayton, Louisiana, born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Ernestine Humphries; his parents, Willie Edward Humphries and Estelle McDaniel Humphries; his son Billy Wayne Humphries; his grandson Tracy Dubre; his great grandchild Chase King; and his siblings, Buster Humphries, Peewee Humphries, Ruby Parker and Betty Reeves.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Gossett (Gary) of Waskom, TX, Annette Comeaux of Clayton, LA, Judy Crews of Clayton, LA, Edward Humphries (Darleen) of Ridgecrest, LA, Ernest Humphries of Clayton, LA and Jerry Humphries (Diana) of Mansfield, GA.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Home (609 EE Wallace Boulevard, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
