It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Cowan of Clayton, Louisiana, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Phillips and Joy Wiggins Phillips; her son Seth Phillips; and her brothers, Marvin H. Phillips and Harold West.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Cowan of Clayton, LA; her children, Nicholas "Bubba" Phillips of Clayton, LA and Jerica Cowan of Clayton, LA; her siblings, Kimberly Evans (Mark) of Ferriday, LA and George Phillips of Clayton, LA; and her grandchildren, Michelle Phillips, Collin Verbeck, Devin Stockstill, Kason Phillips and Alaina Phillips. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
