It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Evelyn Wilson of Clarks, Louisiana, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Albert Phillips and Carrie Louise Kirk Phillips; and her siblings, Jerry Phillips, Kenneth Phillips, Albert Phillips and Della Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Wilson; her siblings, Johnnie Phillips (Barbara), Floyd Phillips Coushatta (Melissa), Carrie Johnson and Patricia Johnson; and her children, Randy Phillips of Georgetown, Belinda Woodruff (Charles) of Urania, Mary Bishop of Urania, Virgil Mize (Nicki) of Virginia, Shasta Well (Will) of Pineville, Melanie Ganey of Urania and Michael Wilson (Kristi) of Natchitoches. She is also survived by grandchildren, host of great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
