He is survived by: his father Phillip Nelams of Church Point; his stepmother Shelley Winn Nelams of Church Point; his grandparents, Robert Nelams, Dorothy "Dot" Nelams of Church Point and Germaine Winn Aguillard of Lafayette, LA; his great-grandparent Rita Elkins of Church Point; his siblings, Nicholas Nelams of Church Point, Taylor Nelams Vidrine (Dylan) of Opelousas, LA, Natalie Nelams and Gracie Nelams; and his godchild Meredith Vidrine.
