It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Marie McBride of Church Point, Louisiana, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Horace J. McBride; her parents, Elie Benoit and Avia Benoit Noel; her siblings, Charles Benoit, Sr., Charlie Tribe and Martha Galland; and her sisters-in-law, Ghislaine Benoit and Regina Benoit.
She is survived by: her daughter Angelle McBride Meaux (Adam) of Church Point; her siblings, Fred Benoit of Opelousas, Morris Benoit of Church Point, Marvin Benoit (Melba) of Leonville, Paul Benoit (Barbara) of Maurice, Patricia Benoit Meche (Herman) of Leonville and Veronica Benoit McCartney (Jerry) of San Antonio, TX; her siblings-in-law, Patra Noel Benoit of Church Point, Sue Tribe Young of Lebanon, TN and Elson Galland of Duson; and her grandchildren, Madison Meaux, Jace Meaux and Gavin Meaux. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
