He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Symeka Scott; his parent Thomas; and his siblings, Janell A. Valair, Jerryline Valair, June Valair, Edward Henry Valair, Hilton Valair and Murphy Valair.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Coleman of Church Point, Gwendolyn Meche of Church Point, Roseanna Thomas of Church Point and Rebecca (Will) of Orlando, FL; and his siblings, Mary Mae Guillory (George) of Iota, Jacqueline Valair of Tucson, AZ, Veronica Bolden of Houston, Van Valair of Iota and Felton Valair of Iota. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
