She was predeceased by: her husband J. U. Cary; her daughters, Jackie Cary and Antoinette Kidder; her grandson Nicholas Kidder; her parents, Isaac Richard and Celina Richard; and her siblings, Loretta Matthews, Shorty, Elton and Junior Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony "Bubba" Cary (Donna) of Carencro and Caron Nunez (Joe) of Church Point; her brother Leander Richard (Mildred) of Church Point; and her grandchildren, Abby Murphy (Jeremy), Kristina Cary, Jolie Cary (Trevor), Bailey Cary (Colby), Michael Kidder (Angel), Matthew Kidder (Monet), Jared Meaux, Andre Nunez (Helen), Chadon Boudreaux (Dylan) and Tiffany Boudreaux (John). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
As an active part of her community, Mrs. Cary was always willing to donate her time to make a difference in bettering her community.
