We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2020, at the age of 65, Sonja Marie Guidry Lapoint (Church Point, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Guidry and Evelyn Bibbs Guidry; her brother-in-law Tim Lacy; and her close friend Higginbotham. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Lapoint of Church Point; her daughters, Leah Lapoint Savoy (Matthew) and Lori Lapoint Sonnier (Brent); and her siblings, David Guidry of Church Point, Carlos "Chubby" Guidry (Raquel Welch Guidry) and Mitzi Guidry of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by grandchild, "Baby Savoy" and her extended family and friends.
