She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sonnier and Mary Gay Sonnier; her former husband Malcolm Thomas McMillan; and her husband John Brasseaux. She is survived by: her sons, David McMillan (Angela Hurt) of Church Point and Mark McMillan (Angela Thibodeaux) of Cankton, LA; her grandchildren, Blake McMillan (Sarah), Hannah McMillan, Matthew McMillan (Adalyn) and T. J. Griffin (Jada); her great grandchildren, Kade, Jansen and Jolie McMillan; and her brothers, Jude Sonnier (Rosie) and John Conrad Sonnier.
