She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lyons and Lydia Lyons; her husband Leopold Venable, Sr.; her son Leopold Venable, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jared Venable and Erin Venable; and her siblings, Frankena, Bertha, Lorraine, Floyd and Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Venable (Kathy), René Venable (Angela) of Lafayette, Reggie Venable (Sonia) of Carencro, LA, Paulette Venable of Church Point and Ann Venable of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Courtney, Briley, Cassie (Scotty), Brian (Megan), Chris (Phoebe), Blake, Sara, Paul, Talia (Jacob), Ethan and Kenadi; her great grandchildren, Katherine, Caroline, Michael, Baby Liam and Shirley Mae; and her siblings, Windsor (Lola) of Carencro, Chester (Vickie) of Lafayette and Ursula (Don) of Lafayette.
