It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paulette Simon in Church Point, Louisiana, born in Gueydan, Louisiana, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Broussard and Daniel Broussard; her grandparents, Mary, Felix Broussard, Eugenia and Pierre Benoit; her former husband Edward "Poncho" Simon; her siblings, Laura Dale Duhon and Larry Broussard; her nephews, Kevin and Danny Cormier; and her son-in-law Robert "Robbie" Broussard.
She is survived by: her children, Megan B. Thibodeaux (Kevin), Marisa S. Sonnier (David) and Slade Simon; her grandchildren, Kristen "Krissy" Broussard of Kaylin, Kylin Thibodeaux and Mike Faul; her daughter-in-law Mindy F. Domingue (Matt); and her sister Barbara Vincent.
